ABOUT:
The top has been chopped 3 3/4", widened 2", and lengthened 4".
The top skin is from a 1957 Olds (for the ribs).
The tempered and curved side glass was custom made by Auto Temp.
The indshield was cut by Classic Glass in Torrington, Conn.
The front end features a pancaked hood with rounded corners.
134 louvers were punched into the hood.
The headlights are from a 2001 Ford Contour (This mod called for a lot of radical metal work.)
The grill is hand made and plated.
The front bumper has been reformed to fit the newly designed front end.
The tailgate has been shaved and opens with the touch of a button.
The rear pan has been rolled with a recessed license plate.
The taillights are from a 1959 Cadillac that have been frenched into the bed.
The power antenna has also been frenched.
The door handles have been shaved and open with a hidden button or a keyless entry system.
The interior has been redone with matching blue and white material.
The seats are from an AMC and have been cut down 7 inches.
The steering wheel is a Lacarra.
Many small features complete the interior.
The suspension has dropped front axles and a flip kit on the rear.
Firestone air bags are on all four corners. (Rides better than new.)
The engine and trans are stock. (Hard to argue with 32 mpg, and a great air conditioner.)
All is in good mechanical condition.
