
Larry Zimmer began customizing cars in 1957 at the young age of 14. While he admits his first attempts didn't turn out great, it sparked the creative enthusiasm that is still with him today. While working a number of jobs in the automotive field, Larry always dreamed about being his own boss and customizing cars for a living. He bought some property with the intent of building two buildings, one for a workshop and the other for storage. His dream came true in 1996, when he opened the doors of Wonder Years -- an automobile restoration and redesigning company based in Batavia, Ohio.

After more than a decade of being in business, Wonder Years has worked on and built an abundant amount cars, many of which have been featured in magazines and become trophy winners. Aside from the work he does with Wonder Years, Larry "moonlights" as an amateur journalist and photographer. He was the How-To Editor for Northern Rodder Magazine and is a writer and photo contributer to Crusin' Style Magazine.
If Larry has it his way, he'll be doing this until the big man knocks on his door.
